Medical First Aid

This mandatory course for deck & engine cadets to sail as officers, and it get the required Skills & Knowledge to tackle Medical Emergencies onboard Ships. This 4-days course is designed & delivered as per the latest STCW Convention & as per the D. G. Shipping Guidelines, as applicable. Excellent Infrastructure, Quality of Faculty & Training & Best Exit Exam results- all under a single roof at Seacom Marine College.

Eligibility

Elementary First Aid (EFA) course must have been completed.
Must having 6 months sea service with approved Pre-sea Training.
Non-Indian Participants need to hold a Student Visa to India to undergo the course.
Note: As per D.G.Shipping Guidelines, a candidate will be permitted for the final examination (Exit Exam/ Institute Exam, as applicable) only after successfully completing the E- Learning Module of the course.

Documents Required

CDC with a proof of six-month sea service,
EFA Certificate

If the sea service and the certificate details are updated on the Seafarer Profile, then the seafarer profile can be submitted.

As per DGS Order 20 of 2020, the Successful Completion of E-Learning Modules through the DGS website is mandatory to get Digital Certificate for all DG-approved Courses. You must complete the E- Learning Module of the course on D.G.Shipping Website, including passing the E- Learning Assessment, before the completion of your Physical class to be eligible to give your Exit Exam.
