Masters Medical Care Course [MC]

This course is designed for those designated to take charge of Medical Care on board ship and aims to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for knowledge, understanding and proficiency in Section A-VI/4 para 4 to 6 and Table A-VI/4-2 of the STCW Code. This course is principally intended for candidates for certification as Chief Mates & Masters on sea going ships.

Eligibility

Nautical Officers holding COC
Non-Indian Participants need to hold a Student Visa to India to undergo the course.
Note: As per D.G.Shipping Guidelines, a candidate will be permitted for the final examination (Exit Exam/ Institute Exam, as applicable) only after successfully completing the E- Learning Module of the course.

If the certificate details are updated on the Seafarer Profile, then the seafarer profile can be submitted.

As per DGS Order 20 of 2020, Successful Completion of E-Learning Modules through the DGS website is mandatory to get Digital Certificate for all DG approved Courses. You must complete the E- Learning Module of the course on D.G.Shipping Website, including passing the E- Learning Assessment, before the completion of your Physical class to be eligible to give your Exit Exam.
