Basic Safety Training Course

This course is required to apply for Indian CDC. This 12-days course consists of FPFF, EFA, PSSR, PST Courses. This course enables individuals to carry out their Safety Duties on Board Ships and to be trained & be ready for Onboard Emergencies including Fire, Abandon Ship, Medical & other Emergencies. It is one of the Mandatory courses for Indian CDC application. This course is designed & delivered as per the latest STCW Convention & as per the D. G. Shipping Guidelines, as applicable. Eligibility

This course is mandatory for all seafarers to serve onboard sea-going ships.
INDOS Number is Mandatory.
All trainees must be certified by a DGS-approved doctor, to be in good health, for the practical session.
Note: As per D.G.Shipping Guidelines, a candidate will be permitted for the final examination (Exit Exam/ Institute Exam, as applicable) only after successfully completing the E- Learning Modules of the the following Courses in BST- PST, FPFF, EFA, PSSR.

As per DGS Order 20 of 2020, Successful Completion of E-Learning Modules (Course ID- 6111, 6121, 6131, 6141) through the DGS website is mandatory. You must complete the E- Learning Module of all the 4 courses on D.G.Shipping Website, including passing the E- Learning Assessment, before the completion of your Physical class to be eligible to give your Exit Exam
