Automatic Radar Plotting Aids (ARPA) course
Automatic Radar Plotting Aids (ARPA) course is a mandatory 5 days DG Shipping-approved training for navigational officers, focusing on radar simulation, collision avoidance, and, interpreting automated target tracking. It is designed for officers with at least 12 months sea time as a deck cadet.
