GMDSS COURSE

This simulator course enables an individual to get the required Knowledge, Competence & Skill to operate a GMDSS system used while ship is in Distress for communication and relaying the Distress messages. This 17 day course (including exams) is mandatory for Deck Cadets appearing for their 2nd Mate FG Exams at MMDs. This simulator course is designed & delivered as per the latest STCW Convention & as per the D. G. Shipping Guidelines, as applicable. Excellent Infrastructure, Quality Faculty & Training & Best GMDSS Examination results- all under a single roof at Seacom Marine College.

Eligibility

12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (or) Cadets intending to attend for 2nd Mates examination (or) Nautical Officer holding COC (or) Radio Officer with Certificate of Proficiency.
Candidates need to be above 18 years old.
INDoS number is mandatory
Non-Indian Participants need to hold a Student Visa to India to undergo the course.

Clear soft copies in PDF format of the following should be ready with the candidate on the day of Course Commencement.
    • 10+2 Mark sheet with (Maths, Physics & Chemistry)
    • Valid INDIAN Passport (1st & Last Page). Note: Candidates cannot appear for examination if Passport is expired.
    • Recent color photo in Formal Shirt. Note: Photos with round neck T-Shirts not accepted.
    • Signature (On a white sheet)

Candidates should bring their Original 10+2 Certificate and Passport as this is required for WPC verification.

 Candidates need to be above 18 years of age.
