RADAR ARPA AND NAVIGATION SIMULATOR (RANSCO)

The Radar and Navigation Simulator (RANSCO) is a 6-day aim to prepare a student to make efficient & effective use of radar as a navigational aid in congested, confined waters, recognize potential threats, and make valid navigational & collision avoidance decisions in compliance with COLREGS. Further, upon successful completion of this course, the student would attain the ability to plan, organize, and manage a bridge team. This course will also provide the ability to respond to, coordinate and execute a search & rescue operation.

Eligibility

Certificate of Competency issued under Reg. II/1 or II/1 (NCV) of the STCW95 and should also hold Radar Observation Simulator Course Certificate and ARPA Course Certificate,
INDoS number is mandatory.

Documents Required

CDC with proof of sea service
ROSC and ARPA certificate
Valid Medicals by a D.G. Shipping Approved Doctor a valid passport.
